Our story

The SPRIO name came to me, in an inspirational way, at just before dawn in early 2014, when I was staying at a friends’ winery in Castel San Pietro, in the Province of Bologna, during a trip to Italy. The name SPRIO repeatedly flashed in my mind, with evoked visions of a sparkling effervescence, fun, joy and happiness that seemed to suggest the true essence of the word, together with the word Spritz also coming to mind in association with it. That morning, I described this interesting and exciting inspiration to my hosts at breakfast time and they all thought it was a wonderful name for a drink.

Some time did elapse, because of other priorities, but fast forward to 2022 and one of my best friends Fabbio Navarroli and I felt it was the right timing to thoroughly research the soft drinks market as we felt there were too many sugary and unhealthy drinks commercially available. So, we decided to embark on producing an excellent quality “all-natural” low to zero sugar, unique spritz style soft drink range, with fine elegant champagne style bubbles, and a fresh lasting taste and flavour like no other. A drink for the discerning health conscious, both young and adult, that would only contain high-quality natural ingredients, would be highly enjoyable and a drink of choice that could even work well with food at any time of day or evening and remain refreshing, cleansing and totally satisfying. All this without any fanfare or plethora of promises of so many products.

We have now accomplished our objective and we sincerely hope you enjoy our premium quality range of SPRIO Spritz drinks as much as we do.
